Yosef Vinoker's Shiur

Beginner level shiur where students learn the fundamentals of Gemorra, Bircas HaTorah methodology, Halacha, Chumash with Rashi and grammar. Students should have a basic level of Hebrew reading, be motivated and independent. This shiur sets the path for independent learning and self inspiration. It accepts both short and long term students.

Pesach Allen's Staff Bio

Mid-level Gemorra shiur which covers approximately 1 daf of Gemorra per week with Rashi’s commentary. It introduces and utilizes basic Bircas HaTorah methodology. The shiur sets students on the path of developing independent learning skills. Shiur participants enter with some previous learning experience. Most students are long term learners at Bircas (several months to more than one year). Short term learners are also accepted. Approximately 6-9 students.

Advanced Gemorra shiur which covers 2 daf of Gemorra per week with Rashi’s commentary. Shiur participants enter with strong learning skills. Students are proficient in Bircas HaTorah methodology and further hone their skills as part of the shiur curriculum. In addition, students are fully able as independent learners. Many are given opportunities to teach less experienced learners. Most students are long term learners at Bircas (several months to more than one year). Short term learners are also accepted. Approximately 4-6 students.

Advanced Gemorra shiur which covers 2 amudim a week with Rashi and Tosafos commentaries. Students extensively use Bircas HaTorah methodology for deep analysis of text. High level abilities are required. Most students are long term learners at Bircas (several months to more than one year). This shiur occasionally includes short term learners. Rosh Yeshiva's Staff Bio

This shiur covers both Shulchan Aruch and Gemorra exercising an intensive use of and complete integration of Bircas HaTorah methodology. The highest level of learning skills is necessary. Students experience the power and depth of Rosh Yeshiva Shimon Green’s teaching of Torah. The Rosh Yeshiva guides and enables students to grasp deep Torah insights on their own. Many of the students are Magidei Shiur and Rabbis in their own right. Approximately 10-15 students.

Generally, this shiur is composed of short term and beginner learners, one-to-one. It is a tailor-made program including Gemorra, Pirkei Avos and Chumash Ohr HaChaim.
