2025-26 in Review
Some years are measured in pages learned.
Some are measured in hikes traversed and tefillos whispered at kivrei tzadikim.
And some are measured in late-night conversations, and in the quiet confidence of a bochur realizing he has grown.
This year’s PHS program was all of them.
In the Beis Medrash, the shiur had a pulse. The talmidim asked, argued, listened, reviewed, and built. Torah was not something passing through the room; it was something they were entering into. The learning was alive, and the growth was real.
Beyond the Beis Medrash, the year opened wide — tiyulim, hikes, rappelling, scuba diving, Shabbatonim, activities, and the kind of shared experiences that turn a group of bochurim into a chevra. The fun was healthy, the challenges were real, and the memories became part of the growth.
The siyumim told one part of the story.
The faces tell the rest.
